Bryan Smart's talented filly Distinctive ran a fine race in the 2000 Guineas to finish 5th and has plenty of options for the future.
Reg Hollinshead
Special mention has to be made of Reg Hollinshead who was honoured in November as the winner of the Peter O'Sullevan award for 2009. Our congratulations to him on his fine achievements in 60 years of training.
John Gosden success continues
John Gosden continued his run of success in the 2009 season winning the Lincoln with Espresso Star, the Tatersalls 3yo trophy with Nehaam, the Lockinge with Virtual and the Hardwicke with Bronze Cannon. More recently he has won the Sheema Classic with Dar Ra Mi. Hopes are high for his Derby and Oaks probables Azmeel and Gertrude Bell after fine wins in the Dee Stakes and the Cheshire Oaks respectively.
EuroBale is pleased to welcome Michael Whitaker
EuroBale is pleased to welcome Michael Whitaker as one of our newest customers. Michael takes no introducing as one of the best known figures in world showjumping. Michael has been a silver medalist at the Olympics, Gold European medalist as well as numerous world cup placings.
Michael has been a member of the British nations Cup team on 167 occasions, 34 of these were British victories.
